Fully Programmable

The ToSeven DM01 and DM02 have true torque sensing that senses how hard you are pushing down on the pedals. Pedal harder and the motor runs faster. A real plus is that these motors are also throttle enabled as needed for those times when you just need a break or need to get home.

Since a ToSeven middrive transmits power through the drivetrain to the rear wheel, the use of either an IGH or derailleur allows the motor to utilize the additional torque at lower gears while offering higher speed in higher gears while helping to maintain proper cadence for the rider.

ToSeven designed their DM01 and DM02 motors with vast programming capabilities built right in to the display interface, and we order them in that way. The ToSeven system allows for a high level of tuning anytime and anywhere. This gives the rider total control over response and performance.

Can I do this?

Do you carry compatible components?

YES! As a dedicated ToSeven dealer, all of our parts and components are certified to work with the ToSeven line of DM01 and DM02 motors. The DM motors are designed to be rebuildable and are built for a long service life. Replacement parts are readily available.

Why Would I Build an e-Bike?

Perhaps you have already experienced e-bikes and want something beyond what a hub motor can offer. Maybe you are looking for true torque sensing instead of simple pedal assist along with throttle capability. Increased performance? Whatever the reason, ToSeven offers it.

Will a MidDrive work on a Recumbent?

You bet it will! Two of our most popular motors for recumbent conversion are the DM02 500W or DM01 750W Motors. At just over 8 lbs and 11 lbs in weight, they will not upset the balance of an unloaded Tadpole trike while still offering strong performance and true torque sensing for exercise.

Is Everything Included?

Everything but the battery. There are some setups that may require extra cable lengths or extra tie wraps etc., a recumbent comes to mind. Battery packs are readily available online in a variety of voltages, capacity and configurations. We are always here if you need a second opinion.

Are Instructions and Tools Included?

Each motor kit comes with a full set of written instructions along with online access to a wide variety of PDF's and videos. Your kit will also come with a specialty wrench needed to tighten the bottom bracket fasteners. Other tools you may need are basic bike tools used for bottom bracket removal, screwdrivers, and allen wrenches which are available locally or online.

Is There A Warranty?
