A MidDrive Uses Your Gearing

Since a ToSeven middrive transmits power through the drivetrain to the rear wheel, the use of either an IGH or derailleur allows the motor to utilize the additional torque at lower gears while offering higher speed in higher gears while helping to maintain proper cadence for the rider.

True Torque Sensing

The ToSeven DM01 and DM02 have true torque sensing that senses how hard you are pushing down on the pedals. Pedal harder and the motor runs faster. A real plus is that these motors are also throttle enabled as needed for those times when you just need a break or need to get home.

ToSeven has designed their DM01 and DM02 motors with vast programming capabilities built right in to the display interface, and we order them in that way. Our "unlocked" system allows for a high level of tuning anytime and anywhere. This gives the rider total control over how the motor responds and performs.

Is There A Warranty?

We have you covered. The ToSeven offers a one year warranty. We suggest that you keep your shipping carton in the rare occasion that something needs to be repaired. The DM motors are designed to be rebuildable and are built for a long service life.

Are Your ToSeven Motors Unlocked?

YES! Our ToSeven Motors are ordered in unlocked and fully programmable and ship benchtested with the latest firmware updates! This allows the user to make adjustments on the fly through the display interface. ToSeven motors that are ordered from AliExpress may come "locked" with limited adjustability and top speed (40km/h).

Will a MidDrive work on a Recumbent?

You bet it will! Two of our most popular motors for recumbent conversion are the DM02 500W or DM01 750W Motors. At just over 8 lbs and 11 lbs in weight, they will not upset the balance of an unloaded Tadpole trike while still offering strong performance and true torque sensing for exercise.

Is Everything Included?

Everything but the battery. There are some setups that may require extra cable lengths or extra tie wraps etc., a recumbent comes to mind. Battery packs are readily available online in a variety of voltages, capacity and configurations. We are always here if you just want a second opinion.

Are Instructions and Tools Included?

Each motor kit comes with a full set of written instructions along with a specialty wrench needed to tighten the bottom bracket fasteners. Other tools you may need are basic bike tools used for bottom bracket removal, screwdrivers, and allen wrenches which are available locally or online.

ToSeven DM02 500W 36V to 60V

True Torque Sensing, throttle capable and fully programmable. 90nm of torque with 900W of peak power at 60V. This is a a lot of performance wrapped into a very compact package.

ToSeven DM01 750W 48V to 60V

When you need more power and torque, but want to maintain Class 2 and Class 3 legal status. This 120nm motor can do it. Deep programmable settings are available for fine tuning.

Our powerhouse drive system capable of handling 30amps at 60V. True torque sensing and throttle compatible for your style of riding.
